Viracon PLUS™ CyberShield®

Viracon PLUS™ CyberShield Glass.
CyberShield® with Pilkington DATASTOP™ is a product in the Viracon PLUS family of advanced partner technology solutions. It is designed to help government organizations, public and private businesses, architects and building owners design a secure building and prevent electronic eavesdropping.
Pilkington DATASTOP is a glass substrate coated with a specialized conductive coating that reduces the transmission of radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic radiation (RF Shielding). CyberShield combines two plies of DATASTOP in a laminated configuration with a PVB interlayer.
Unlike other methods of RF Shielding that use films or wire mesh, CyberShield does not require edge deletion, providing a continuous shield of protection when incorporated in an appropriate glazing system. Integrating CyberShield does not affect the visual appearance of the glass, allowing for seamless, undetectable protection in a building façade.
Privacy Eavesdropping Protection.
CyberShield glass offers electrical RF signal attenuation with an average of 45dB across a frequency range from 25MHz to 18GHz. Cyber security is further enhanced with full protection to the glass edge, creating a complete barrier when installed in a suitable glazing system that includes conductive gaskets or conductive silicone.

Applications Secure Surroundings.
CyberShield can be applied alone or as the inboard of an insulating, double laminated insulating, or triple insulating unit. It is visually undetectable, making it ideal to add EMF protection in sensitive areas such as conference rooms, consultation and HR offices, research labs – wherever privileged work is conducted.
